Dr. med. Helmut Radspieler
Born in Munich in 1953, died in Munich in 2015.
After completing his studies several years of practical work in internal medicine and above all in radiology. Since 1994 he has had his own private practice with a focus on osteoporosis. 1997 Opening of the osteoporosis diagnosis and therapy center in Munich together with Prof. Maximilian A. Dambacher, the world-famous calcium metabolism specialist from the Balgrist University Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Radspieler played a leading role in introducing bone structure analysis to patients as a routine examination.
Dissertation: Does the extent of the trabecular bone mass loss depend on the initial bone mass? A 3-center study with the imaging method of high-resolution, peripheral, quantitative computed tomography (Medical Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich).
Focus: diagnosis and therapy of osteoporosis, research, conducting scientific studies, publications in various specialist journals, continuing education, lecturing for colleagues and patients.
